Probiotic starter cultures

Probiotic starter cultures are available in dry and liquid form and are used both independently and in conjunction with other typical starter cultures.

The main advantage of liquid starter cultures is that the microorganisms of the starter cultures are in a physiologically active state, which makes it possible to shorten the production process at the fermentation stage, improve the taste and increase the therapeutic and prophylactic properties of the product.

Our liquid starter cultures

  • Active liquid starter culture of bifidobacteria containing microorganisms - not less than 1х10¹⁰ CFU/cm³
  • Liquid starter culture of lactobacilli (including acidophilic bacteria) with a lactobacillus content of at least 1х10⁹ CFU/cm³
  • Liquid starter culture of propionic acid bacteria with a content of propionic acid bacteria of at least 1х10¹⁰ CFU/cm³

The release form is a plastic bottle with a volume of 0.5 and 1 liter.

Shelf life - 2 months at a temperature of (4 ± 2)ºС.

The method of introducing liquid starter cultures of direct introduction is direct introduction into a container with a normalized mixture.

Dry starter cultures

The advantage of dry starter cultures is a longer shelf life. In the production of dry starter cultures, we use a gentle lyophilic drying method, which allows us to maintain a high titer (content) of probiotic microorganisms:
The content of bifidobacteria is not less than 1х1010 CFU/g.
The content of lactobacilli is at least 1х109 CFU/g.
The content of propionic acid bacteria is not less than 1х1010 CFU/g.

Release form - plastic bottles for 0.25 t, 0.5 t, 1 t, 2 t and 5 t of the finished product.*

Mass fraction of moisture - no more than 3.5%.

Shelf life - 1 year at a temperature of (4±2)ºС.

*Dosages are indicative and depend on the final titer of probiotic microorganisms in the finished product. This dosage is designed for a titer of 1х107CFU/cm3(g).

Methods for adding dry starter cultures of direct application:

  • Direct introduction into the container with the standardized mixture.
  • Short-term activation before adding to the container with the standardized mixture.
